Naoto Fukasawa and Studio Makkink & Bey (Rianne Makkink and Jurgen Bey) will talk about the inherent value of design in contemporary culture in relation to their own work. Journalist Jeanne Tan of Design.nl will conduct a live interview and moderate a Q & A session with the designers.

Studio Makkink & Bey
Designer Jurgen Bey and architect Rianne Makkink have operated studioMakkink & Bey together in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) since 2002. Thestudio's many projects are very diverse, and include public space projects,product design, architecture, exhibition design and applied arts.
