TRAVELS TRAVEL(LER)
Patrick Roger, awarded the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France(MOF), the highest honor for a chocolatier, is an artist as well. His first exhibition in Japan, curated and designed by the architect Lina Ghotmeh, is a major draw in itself, as it induces a dialogue between the world of sculptures and its viewers, and stimulates though its title, TRAVELS TRAVEL(LER), a 'sense of viewing while daydreaming'. According to Patrick Roger, "viewing is form of travel." "Through a voyage around the profound world of sculpture, viewers can expand their imaginations to get an idea of the true shape of these works. I provide each viewer with a personal fantasy voyage."
