About the Exhibition
Food, clothing and shelter are fundamental elements surrounding and fostering our lives. They do so from both inside and outside the body. The original form of each can be traced back to the womb, where the mother's body serves as shelter, the placenta as clothing, and amniotic fluid as food. With no more than adequate quantities of each, humanity has generated flexible types of creativity, supporting life across time and space. This Exhibition touches on these fundamental roots. It addresses food, clothing and shelter with installations embracing all five senses, using textile, sound, scent, and photography, to present aspects of the theme of "soup."

◯ "Twelve Verbs" for creating spaces
Visitors pass through twelve zones generated from specific verbs. These include "to wrap," "to taste," "to fulfill," and so on. The words form a way of experiencing the circulation of life, returning to the beginning, with regeneration, and then, finally, sharing. The Exhibition layout leads visitors from one verb to another, as they find their bodily sensations shifting accordingly.
◯ Collecting Recipes from Exhibits
Recipes are placed next to selected exhibits, and visitors are encouraged to participate in the Exhibition by collecting them. By taking the recipes home, they can continue the story beyond the exhibition experience, extending it into "tasting" and "cooking."
